Why would you expect us to be better next year if we aren’t good this year? We play 7 home games this year vs 6 next year. We probably start over again at QB next year. We are very likely to hit the portal hard again, including on both lines. What’s that haul going to look like with 5-6 wins this year?
This ain’t 2004. Coach these guys up and show something. That’s what good coaches do. Five wins is a f’n disaster. Remember, the 2027 class of commits won’t sign until December and they can still tell us to F off with our 5 wins.
You gotta win in this business. Cignetti won 11 in year one. There are many other examples, like DeBoer at UW. Chesney should win 7-8. Frankly, five would be pathetic. Look at the schedule.
