"Hey, I have a flaming bag of shiit on my hands. Wanna take it off me?"

"Yeah, sure! I love flaming bags of shiit!"

Being the patsy is not the way to get ahead in life.

DF has exposed himself as...a cypher. No depth. And it's a completely self-inflicted wound. Yeah, he'll get some big money for a few years. He's newly married and has 4 kids. And lives in LA (for now). So the money is nice.

But his rep is now trash.

He'll never be more than a RB coach going forward. He'll never be considered for an OC job at the cfb level, much less the nfl. Which he may have if he took the slow and steady path. But hey, he's already 44, which is long in the tooth in the age of Sean McVay and Mike McDaniels. So maybe he was never going to get a shot at a job promotion.

But now, he's a laughing stock meme. He's trying to put a brave face on it, with his t-shirt and all. But when he's fired, no one will remember his spin control efforts to "own" the Foster Freeze.

All anyone will remember is... The Foster Freeze. "Remember that time that Foster dude got up on stage at b18 media day and just shiit himself? Yeah, that was awesome... whatever happened to him?"

"I dunno... but Ucla. Wow, right? Nothing says 'Ucla football' like hiring a complete newbie to take over for one of the best o minds in cfb. Smh"

And I don't think jarmond is at any risk. It's impossible for df to fix his mistakes. But all mj has to do to fix his mistake is fire df.

If he hires Jerry Neu, then he's in trouble. But if he can find a more experienced guy to be the patsy that takes the flaming BOS off his hands the next time, he'll be fine.
