I don’t blame Foster. He probably quintupled his salary and added 4 years of security. He’d be a fool to turn the opportunity down.
This is all on Jarmond. IMO it’s a fireable offense. We know icla doesn’t fire ADs admin positions though. Staffers/Admin/Mgmt have tenure.
How anyone could interview Foster and say “He’s my guy” to the lead a program is de facto incompetent. I’m typically a 2 year guy, at a minimum to make a decision on someone as a coach, but sometimes it’s so obvious that you just need to pull the rip cord as soon as possible before further damage can occur. This is one of those rare instances.
