He was not on a path to ever be an OC or HC anyway, so he lost nothing. He was a career RB coach, at best.
He gained millions of dollars, gets to walk around as head ball coach for a few years, and knows he once scored a TD in the Super Bowl. Nothing to hang your head over.
I think when it's all over (and it won't take long) UCLA fans will still have a good opinion of Foster. Chip will go down as the most despised of any of the post-Donahue coaches, by a wide margin.
