He's a liability on defense. How often does his man score, often on a lay,up, as soon as he comes in? I think sliding Johnson to the 2 and starting Stefanovic could be a better solution and maybe help the Bruins with added height in the lineup.
I'm getting the impression that Andrews' problem is in his head. I don't know the kid or have any inside information so I'm just speculating, but it seems to me that perhaps he just doesn't want the responsibility of running the team whether it's a confidence problem or some kind of self worth issue. The kid has displayed the talent to do the job so it is a real mystery. I do feel based on his late last season performance that he continues to be the key missing piece between where the Bruins are now and any potential they may have to improve.
I agree that something needs to done to light a fire under Dylan. Perhaps benching him would be worth a try?
