I've been saying they need to score 6-7 runs per game to win this series. They're capable, obviously, even though SD pitching is really good (and really healthy).
It annoys me that teams seem to give the Padres their best players for nothing. They got Arreaz for a minor leaguer and a bag of chips. Same thing for Cease. Not sure how they keep doing that. Maybe people just really, really like their GM.
