Cease was 7-9 with a 4.38 ERA last season before he was traded in March. He went 14-11 with a 3.47 ERA this season.

Flaherty was 7-5 with a 2.95 ERA this season before he was traded. He was 6-2 with a 3.58 ERA with the Dodgers.

So the value or demand of these two is not that much different.

Arraez is a very one dimensional player. He gets on base, but does little else to win baseball games. At best, a below average base runner and defender. No power to speak off. He only stole 9 bases this season, a career high. Edman hit as many HR's in two games (4) as Arraez hit in 150. He averaged 30 steals his last three full seasons. He is also an elite fielder at two positions. And if you haven't heard, the Dodgers already have a pretty good leadoff hitter.
