Secession may not be an option

if North Korea or China drops a nuke on us in retaliation. It wouldn't be entirely unjustified. There wouldn't be anything to secede.

Here is the thing. Their nuclear capabilities are limited only to the west coast, placing Trump and the red states well out of reach. Don't put it past them to think this way. Israel is another story.
