Actually one guy did, he literally told Penny I'll hold on to him, he had the guys legs, you just release the choke, and Penny refused.
That's why based on what we know, and again jurors always have access to information we don't, but based on what we know I'm amazed Penny got off. Only 2 people got involved, him and the guy who openly says I told him to let him go or you're going to kill him. So Penny can't argue he wasn't aware the guy was having issues breathing, literally the other person involved was telling him that.
I wasn't there I don't know how serious it was and apparently there were bystanders telling Penny NOT to let him go.
I just know the 2 recent cases where nobody got involved it's VERY unlikely that had anything to do with Daniel Penny. People just didn't get involved because that's what we do in large groups, assume someone else will take care of it
