jurors always have access to information we don't
Jurors receive curated evidence, restricted by rules of evidence, the logistical issues like the need to present witnesses and establish a legal foundation for evidence, and tactical decisions about what evidence to use or withhold.
On the other hand, evidence the jury hears is submitted in public.
Of course the jury may hear testimony or view evidence that is not reported to the public, but still the amount of information available is usually greater for the public since it includes evidence excluded from trial.
