...all year long, he was saying that the "toughest" teams advance and have to wind grind-out games on the defensive end.

This just isn't the case so far. The tourney is showing that you need elite scorers and playmakers to advance.

In the NIL era everything's changing. I hope CMC - who I like and respect as a coach - can adjust his mindset.
