I don't recall the triangle having much success without at least 2 all time NBA greats playing major roles. While I believe that Kerr may be past his prime as basketball coach, saying he isn't a great coach is absurd. Yeah he had a lot of talent to work with during much of his tenure at GS, but much of it is the same talent that was floundering under Mark Jackson, and the style that GS played to the tune of 4 rings was his design and one that has been adopted by teams throughout the League. I don't think he is as sharp as he once was and has become too ingrained in his system and his loyalty to certain players seems to cloud his decision making at times, but regardless, he will easily go down as one of the best and most influential coaches of the past couple decades.
