Yeah Kerr had LBJ guarding Joker on purpose. Jrue got switched on him because joker is such a great lock setter at then high post.
Here a very unpopular opinion. Kerr is not a great coach. I’ll take Spo over him 10/10 times. NBA coaches are not very important anymore. Very few (like Hope diamond rare) create advantages. I think thr only “great” coach currently is Spo. He’s really the only coach that makes chicken salad out of chicken sh!t. I think Nick nurse is also good, but not in Spo’s class. The Celts coach might be special, but he’s playing with an all-start team so you’d expect wild success.
Yeah, there is something to be said for the coach that manages personalities like Kerr and Pop, but as pop bas shown he’s only a great coach when he has great players.
