Well, in that case you're talking about a team whose core was Alford's players. And Cronin had the advantage of getting these guys as older, more mature (and healthier!) players.
Also, that team got bounced in the S16 by a lower seeded Gonzaga team. But that has more to do with Few just being a much better basketball mind than Cronin.
