Last year's team looked like it was going to be another title finalist
because we had one of the best pitchers in all of college
softball and the bats to go with it. Then she fizzled for some
reason and the Bruins couldn't get out of the region.
Ifs: If the Bruins can make it to the Super Regionals, I like our
chances to make it to OK City - then who knows?
I listened to the Palacios interview: she's a sharp cookie; articulate
and insightful.
One final "if" - if the Bruins make it to OK City and lose the first
game, "Sayonara." The losers' bracket is unmerciful.
