Where you end up in life doesn't depend on how much money you earn. It depends on how much you save and how wisely you invest it.
I constantly harp on learning about investing. I tell them to spend less time keeping up with the Kardashians, and more time keeping up with the Benjamins.
I still think the single best book on investing is "Stocks for the Long Run". I like Benjamin Graham's books too, but if someone is only going to read one book, I go with Jeremy Siegel's classic.
