to be taken seriously has a tendency to fall into the same normalization trap where they consider it an intrinsically more respectable point of view that suggests whatever's going on is part of normal order of things. They kinda think that kind of approach imparts a sense of calm, wisdom, and stability, which amounts to credibility,
That, by the way, is why we we still have Trump: intelligentsia's desire to normalize the abnormal.
