after all that happened with Covid and Jan 6th, tells me that this nation completely deserves to be taken down with him.

What happens after Trump will show if we even have the will or the ability to actually rebuild. (My suspicion is that we don't. We will continue to be a joke of a country desperately wanting to be taken seriously and mocked ruthlessly for the world for it.)

The way I see it, it's over. We're not coming back from this. (2024 was indeed a critical election and we failed.)
