Kids are alright: Kat Abughazaleh's AOC vibes

Kat Abughazaleh's announcement made my day last week:

She was working at Media Matters for a while and has been very active and vocal on youtube. So she's very much in her habitat in terms of messaging and the ability to recognize bullsh*t instantly. She is, in other words, a test tube baby designed for our times.

(She's running against Jan Schakowsky in Chicago. She's 26. Schakowsky is an 80 year old who has been in the congress since 1999. So pretty since Abughazaleh was born.)

Also, instant like and follow as soon as she stated that she's making bluesky her primary social platform.

The last video she made on youtube before she declared pretty much captures where she is and it plays like a progressive manifestio in some ways. You can tell me if I'm wrong in getting those AOC vibes or allowing myself a glimmer of hope for the future.
