and other than Obama's candidacy (perhaps much much less, his presidency) I have not been even remotely i pressed by it or its achievements and approach to politics.

I'm guessing a lot of the achievements predate Reagan since it appears to me that that was when the party descended into an identity crisis that had them emerge at the other end with Bill Clinton.

But, if the Dem party is an empty shell, you've got to have some rough idea of how many congressfolk and senators should be primaried. 3/4? 1/2? 1/3?

I think the ones I personally would not want to see primaried would be a handful. The rest should all be, but not all of them by progressives. Pick people who are more in line with the values of the districts they represent (so only a small proportion of them would have actual progressives having a shot), with the only criterion being their desire to fight back against fascism (active hands, baby!) rather than sit back and hope that the Republican Party self-destructs by 2026.

Do you feel any deep frustration with the Democratic Party and their (total lack of) response to what's been going on since the new regime took over?
