Oh I agree I just found it interesting.
Its' along the same lines as the people that are suggesting Harris should say on Jan 6 she can't certify the electors and is going to send it back to the states for them to certify. They don't actually think it will work and stop the change in power they're suggesting it so that Trump and his people would have to admit they were lying in 2020 when they said that's what Pence was allowed to do.
With this one yes the time to deal with the 14th amendment was 2021 right away, but I think the general argument then was until Trump declares himself a candidate, they couldn't really do anything.
