The time to invoke the 14th amendment was back in 2021, in the first couple of months of that year when the memory was fresh, history had not been revised, and before Trump started his campaign and the wheels began to turn. You do things when they need to be done. It's too late now. You can't just make your bed with every decision you make for 4 years and then decide not sleep in it.
Nope, this is what negligence brought us and this is what we have to live with now. No take backsies.
Maybe next time the Democratic party pays attention to progressive voices to be on the right side of history in a timely manner for once.
