I think if you can get an offer from a P4 school, you at least pass the eye test. Schools like OU and Ole Miss don't just throw offers at every kid. To get an offer from them, you must've have some physical talents that they think they can work with in college. Now once the kid arrives at a school, a bunch of things can happen, they can get home-sick, doesn't vibe with the locker room, the nice coach is now suddenly an a-hole etc... It's not a bad deal to get these kids and see if UCLA is the right fit for them.
We obviously ain't getting them from high school.
