Alternative being getting transfers, cuz we need bodies, from Ivy league, DII schools and group of 5 conferences. A bench player from OU, FSU and Miami is going to be more talented than an Princeton starter.
With an active portal, HS recruiting almost doesn't matter. The 5* HS kid you got ain't going to stick around if he ain't getting paid, ain't getting playing time or ain't seeing success.
