We have the worst leadership in the country, and I don't mean coaches or players.
Ucla-Morgan Center approach to football is obsolete. Oregon's approach is correct. We need new leadership to move us closer to the Oregon model, or we lose the program over time. The Oregon model will drive the top teams up, and the Ucla model will drive the obsolete teams down and eventually out of business.
We'll see whether the new chancellor has the stones to make the right choice. He either cleans house and gets leaders who will put us on the path to commercial success, or he stays with the public service pension seekers who preserve the obsolete Ucla model and we lose the program.
