1. Just to clarify, are you stating that we should continue to run the ball into the opposing DL (best case scenario), and/or into the backs of our own OL as they are getting pushed into the backfield (most likely scenario)? And yes, "we need at least some plays where we just fire out and beat the crap out of the Defense hard" but alas, we have neither the players or the plays to beat the crap out of much of anything beyond the hearts of the dwindling fanbase.
2. Yes, completely agree, our defense is getting worn down by all the long sustained scoring drives they are giving up and you provide the perfect solution, playing press coverage with a group of DBs that are inept at press coverage and sending the house on blitzes without anyone who is actually capable of getting home in order to speed up those scoring drives and keep our D fresh.
3. Bienemy's route concepts suck which is a big part of why nobody is getting open. Also, on step 3 of his drop, Garbers is often focused on the Dlineman in his face wondering how they keep managing to beat him to his drop.
4. Play action only works when the threat of a run exists, we have none.
