He tanked the team on purpose. Say what you want about UA's reasons for bailing on us. Say that had nothing to do with the abysmal performance of Chip's teams. What can't be denied is that we had to go begging for a uniform sponser. Hat.in.Hand. Nobody wanted to touch us. We got a begger's deal from Jumpman.
Because of Chip, the Athl. Dept. is in a deep deep hole.
On another note, why the hell should the Calimony come out of the Athletic Department budget? The Regent's decision was against the school, not the Athletic Dept. The $10mil/year should come from the general fund.
