Full scale rebellion

On the shellacking witnessed yesterday:

As predicted here, Morgan Center's not renewing Chip was going to hurt the program. It has, especially on offense.

Case in point (among many) is our imported right guard. He's not a player Chip would allow anywhere near the OL. He' heavy, very slow, uncoordinated and clumsy. Completely unsuitable for Chip's run game. Chip needs his guards to pull or get to the linebackers on straight ahead blocking. This guy is barely out of his stance by the time the play is over and is usually the guy standing and watching as the play gets blown up. He's incompetent in pass pro. Terrible. OL coach Castillo is here for a year or two to collect a handsome salary and close out his career. He's a fake.

The impotence of Bienemy's offensive scheme is revealed by it's lack of a running game to be sure. But, its futility is also clearly evident in the passing game. Receivers are nearly always tightly covered, seldom open and never wide open. Bienemy isn't fooling anyone. He's a fake.

This D is the 2018 D once again. Pointless pass rush which exposes the secondary. The rush D looks pretty good, but that isn't enough to stop scores by the other team.

It adds up to something like 3 - 9.

On the program:

So, Chip Haters rejoice. This is what you hoped for and you finally got it. Chip the Meany is gone and you now have a "Bruin" to lead the team. Bonus: You also get a return of the pregame Bruin Walk into the stadium, a coach who wants fans to have paddles in the stands, who enjoys handing out t-shirts before basketball games and a coach who freezes on stage but is always "excited". Never mind the completely disorganized team and its dim prospects for the next two years. Feel good about your decision Chip Haters. You won and can now enjoy the spoils of your victory.

Now, do I really need to once again implore you to consider Morgan Center to be the origin of all this chaos and failure? Or, can you begin to see that the Ucla football program has been destroyed by the government bureaucrat pension seekers and salary suckers who drove athletics into bankruptcy in 2019 yet oddly remain in their posts? (By 2022 athletics had accumulated $102.8 million in debt.)

Morgan Center needs to be removed, cleaved off from football to concentrate on the Olympic sports if they wish. Football needs new, outside entrepreneurial management if it is to survive the ongoing consolidation in CFB. Our current path leads to extinction.

I wonder if a petition would help.

The American Revolution began in Boston when a guy named Sam Adams had seen enough of British oppression there. His cousin John became better known, but it was Sam who early on brought the energy, daring, cunning, strength and persistence to ignite the colonies into full scale rebellion. We need a Sam Adams.
