He sucks. I don't think he's accomplished at all.
The mere act of not being able to sniff out what Foster is and stay away, rather than jeopardizing his career, really brings his judgment into question for me. Putting in this overly complicated offense in college after being an assistant under Dorrell (who famously failed with the same idea) is another huge red flag.
Throwing the ball out of the end zone with 30 seconds in the half vs. Hawaii was just pure idiocy. All the signs are there that EB is not a good OC.
I think Chow was a legit OC and QB guru at some point. What we got at UCLA was an old guy who had to coach under Rick N. and had little talent to work with, especially at the QB position. And Chow was like Chip in that he had an off-putting personality and no knack/desire for recruiting.
