5 of their 8 new starters were transfers, mainly in the secondary.
SC didn't blitz all that much, probably didn't think blitzing would've gotten through the LSU OL. Lynn blitzed a ton last year
4.5 yards/rush is mostly due to that 2 big run by Emery. I look at the fact that they stopped LSU run on 4th and goal and 3rd and 1. Those are the plays where line control are tested. Frankly, SC DL overpowered LSU OL in most run plays. Yrds/pass were also deceiving since SC DBs were giving cushion most of the time.
