When I go to games at the Rose Bowl, I usually do the shuttle from Parsons. If the line at the end of the game is too long, I do the walk back to Parsons. It's uphill, but as long as your body works, it's a really nice walk through a nice neighborhood and you get there in about the same amount of time as if you waited in the line for the shuttle.
The biggest advantage of the shuttle for me is I like to spend time in Pasadena before and after the game. If the game is early enough, like grabbing dinner or hitting a bar and watching other games and you're usually hanging out with other Bruin fans.
