Uh, no. What we have here is far more dangerous than a long cycle. What we have here is systems failure.
We were good periodically before NIL but not at all since. As others accelerated their NIL fundraising, Morgan Center fought it as a threat to their sinecures. We were late founding a collective let alone getting it to work.
More importantly, looking forward we look poised to fall further behind.
This is outright failure, entirely consistent with Ucla/Morgan Center lacking the talent we need to compete in contemporary college football. If we don't get better management, we'll fail when the days of limitless TV money come to an end.
