Really liked the stadium and atmosphere. Matt Moore got hurt early, which deflated everyone. But Drew Olson came in and did reasonably well.
I remember Dorrell had a proud little smile right before the team came out on the field, and they were playing The Boys of Summer (Ataris cover) over the PA system. They seemed to sell a lot of Bratwurst there at the stadium.
Later I saw Geoff Stand walking around town alone, looking dejected. I enjoyed the games then. Haven't been to a game since 2016.
I think Bieniemy had a lot to do with White not playing, since he would have been responsible for the rotation. Then White ran for over 100 yards the next game against Illinois, which anyone who recalls that game knows was one of the least entertaining UCLA football games ever played.
It didn't take long to see what we had with Dorrell. I don't think it will take long with Foster, either.
