Just bought tickets today for the LSU-$c game at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas. As much as I love having the stadium in Vegas and being a part of it at one point, tickets for the average fan just isn't good.
Lower level sideline 15 yard line to 15 yard line START at $470 (before fees). Next levels sidelines are all suites. I bought goal line second level for $240. If your an average fan and want to sit sideline, your only chance is 3rd and 4th levels and good chance you're spending $200 on up. I explained to my buddy, we're at the age that it's not worth it anymore to sit up high unless it's more of a once in a lifetime thing.
I've told people before that I hate Arthur Ashe stadium for the US Open because how far away they put the fans. I don't really care for the NFL stadiums because of the same thing. If you're one of those who's in a box or VIP, then it's great
I still LOVE games at the Rose Bowl. A bad seat there is still better than most and you can still sit sideline for major games for way less than most. And much closer to the field.
Anyways, Geaux Tigers on Sept 1. Try to make some friends and make the trip to Baton Rouge a few weeks later.
