This hire was doomed from the start. My personal opinion is that there is no way in h*ll Foster can succeed in the Big 10. I don't find the topic even worth discussing, so I won't.
I think the best way to interact with UCLA football is the Clockblocker model. Try to find things you like within the program. Don't expect too much. For me, this is a tough way to watch but some people are able to do it.
The Northwestern comparison is interesting to me. My kid starts NW next month, so I'm going to check out a game. In the past I would have considered it a step down from UCLA football, but now, I don't think so. Slim as they are, between two teams I can double my chances of success!
