A lot of red flags...
I hate when players say they all had to change to a new vocabulary instead of the coach using the existing vocabulary, especially when it took them all spring/summer to learn it.
Variation/options in college are bad, especially in the NIL era where you don't have multiple years to coordinate. Any description as to the FB version of the triangle offense is a red flag. Now they are talking about a full year to master an offense. Garbers is a senior.
So the built-in excuse is that it will take him a year to learn the offense this year and the next quarterback a year to learn it also. So we'll have our first shot of maybe having a QB understand this offense 3 years from now at best?
Does our depleted OL now have to learn how to block out of 2 different formations?
This stinks of every failing offensive coach who believes that a college program can run an NFL offense. I'm missing Chip Kelly's offensive philosophy already.
