My guess is that next year's excuse is that we will simplify the offense.
In 2 years, Bienemy will be the sacrificial lamb.
In 3 years, we will be on fire Foster watch.
It is so discouraging to read that article knowing that Foster isn't taking responsibility for either side of the ball.
Even if we have a good coordinator they will leave. We have no assurance of consistency on any side of the ball.
How does a new unknown coach recruit after a bad first year? Bienemy's offense sounds like a total wreck.
I was hopeful that at the very least he would be a good recruiter however taking a closer look, he was the OC for 1 year in college at Colorado when they were the worst team in the Pac-12. He then went to KC where he didn't call plays then one year as an OC with the Commanders where they were the worst team in their conference.
He had terrible offenses at any team that he's called plays.
