Are there any players on that list who could realistically elevate this team into championship-caliber territory? I don’t know every player on the list well enough to have a definitive opinion, but I do know that most of these guys weren’t good enough to get drafted.
So then the question becomes: would they actually play ahead of Booker or Jovic? From my perspective, there may be one or two guys who fit that criteria, but those players are likely in high demand and will command a pretty nice check.
That said, and taking into account mh’s point above about how volatile the situation still is, I just don’t think Cronin is in the market for that type of player right now. Quite frankly, I’d rather see him take a swing on a big guy somewhere in Europe who might have a couple of years of eligibility.
