I do think you reach a point where rumor, or perception becomes reality for many. Cronin has not done himself any favors. Personally I think it’s just a matter of time for Cronin. I’d love to see him turn it around. That would mean he’s managed to have another impressive run. But as I’ve said previously, the window is shrinking more each day.
I think he’ll have a decent year this coming season. If he doesn’t bring in a haul that’s capable of competing for a championship the next year he will be let go.
Just a guess.
