Ya, and we're missing wide open threes, too. You're going to miss more than you make, even when you're wide open (unless your name is Azzi Fudd), but we're shooting a pretty low % on open threes. I resisted Fuzzy's assertion on that, but he's right.
It looks like a lack of confidence? Part of it might be that we're not getting as many wide open looks as we were, so we're not in the groove (in a flow state? Is that what the kids say?). Sometimes they look like "am I supposed to be taking this shot?"
Dugalic was 0-4 vs. Duke. All in the 4th qtr when we were pulling away. She looked so hesitant on her shots. And, I'm not an expert on her shooting form, but from what I saw, she never had her shoulders square to the basket. It was like "okayyyyy, I guess I'm going to shoot this."
That's part of why I feel like we should take three pointers on the break if we can get them. There is no question that is the game plan, the player doesn't have to question their shot.
