choice. If it had worked the game was over. It's only after the fact. when the result of the play is known, that "second guessers" from the safety of their couches come out to criticize. The kid had a moment to decide what to do. He saw the open men up court. It was a correct read and his impulse wasn't wrong. The only thing that went wrong was it didn't work. Other options could have gone wrong as well. The kid didn't shy away from the big moment. He played well.
