I don’t recall us handing the ball to the Zags. As Donnie Mac always preaches … time and score…with 10 sec’s left you do not need to even get the ball out of the back court…JUST hold it they must foul and even if you miss both UCON must go 90+ feet … probably hoist up a 1/2 court prayer with five seconds left. Just saying, it was either bad coaching (I doubt it) brain freeze (probably) low bb IQ (not likely) but at the end it was a DUMB play considering the time and score. Not really really trashing Boozer (well kind of) but I think his brother would have held it and taken the foul. I feel sorry for the kid who will take that moment with him for a long time but JUST HOLD THE BALL!
