landscape. This era of NIL, portals, is so bonkers, how many coaches are handling it well from the gate? So many freakin variables. Was there a team this season that absolutely won all the games they should have won? I guess we can look at the schools that are in the Sweet 16? They got it done this season and on this current landscape. FWIW, I like what Duke, Arizona, Michigan, Houston, MSU, etc. have done and how their teams have looked and performed. I'm no expert. Just via an eye test, I like how competitive those teams are in the current landscape. Which honestly could be traced right now to how much money a school is willing to spend on NIL. Which to me, looks downright dirty. Very similar to giving money to high school players to come to your school. It just rubs me the wrong way. we also don't know how much money each school is spending. and there is no cap. as i said, bonkers.
