Here’s a better hypothetical for you? What if our coach actually did his job well over the course of an entire season? If that happens, we don’t lose games to teams like Cal and OSU and Indiana and Minnesota, teams that it was embarrassing to lose to, especially given how high the team was ranked to begin the season.
If we win the ones we’re supposed to, we don’t end up being a freaking 7 seed having to play UConn in the second round. Our tournament fate was sealed long before Bilodeau’s injury.
Fire Cro-magnon if you want to see better outcomes. Or stick with him and keep finishing near the middle of the standings in the B10.
