You added a ton of stuff I didn’t say.
I never said: no drop off, you’ll hardly notice the difference, opposition teams will game plan against them the same way, they’re a carbon copy of each other.
I said their numbers are substantially similar (remarkably so, really)
I said I would use Booker the same way we used Bilo. I didn’t say he would be as effective. But it looks like Books going to be on the team. Between trying to make him a 5, and running the same stuff for him that we ran for Bilo, I’d take the latter.
What do you propose we do with Booker next year. Please don’t say “make him a 5”
Regarding your scenario, if I had the mic at mid court in front of x number of screaming fans, I’d say ok folks, what should we do with Booker next season ???? (Multiple ?’s to indicate reverb) Should we continue to force him into being a FIVE??????? (I’d shake my head no) The crowd would scream Noooooooo! With several expletives thrown in. Then I’d say ok, hear me out, and say we should try running the same stuff for him that we ran for Bilo. The crowd would yell that’s stupid! But not as vociferously. I would say So you’re saying we should continue to cram him into being a 5????? The roaring response would be Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!
At that point I’d rest my case.
I mean, how do you solve a problem like Booker - a flibberdeegibbet, a will-o-the-wisp?
Id say prioritize getting a real center and run the play for Booker that we ran for Bilo. Bilo-deux.
What’s your plan for Booker next season?
Btw, I like Booker, he seems to be working hard to improve his game. He’s just not a 5. Never was, never will be.
So what speech are you giving at center court?
