After watching that end of game out of bounds play several times

my question is: Why wasn't UCLA in a zone D on that out of bounds play? The man defense they used ended up having no protection at the hoop with the high pick on Dent and his inability get through the screen or to switch quick enough to get in front of the big Indiana freshman who he had to chase down the lane from the side and foul him at the last second. It was a good out of bounds play though by Indiana but should have been defended since the Bruins had gone over it many times in practice. I've always liked a zone defense for inbounds when guarding a team inbounding a ball under their offensive hoop. That play wouldn't work against a zone D and would have forced Indiana to take a panic shot from the outside and one that they probably didn't have time to get off with 1.5 seconds on the clock.

Very disappoint ending, especially since it should have been UCLA's ball not Indiana's had the officials made the correct call--video replay was clear as to who touched it last.
