Bruins stumbled out of the locker room without really waking up for quite awhile. In the first four minutes, Purdue outscored us 9-4. The 4 was all Jaquez who was the one not missing shots, missing layups or causing turnovers. You can bet that stretch is going to the focus of HC Cori Close in the next couple of days.
After 3 it's still UCLA 68-38 (Q3 score was UCLA 22, Purdue 18 after we hit some late shots.
As well as we played against Maryland, we were that poor in that quarter - except for Jaquez who scored the first 10 UCLA points in the third quarter until Lauren got a layup about 7 1/2 minutes into the quarter. Defense was as lacking as our offense, too. But the Bruins are just so much superior to these Boilermakers some late play - a 7-0 run at the end of the quarter - extended our lead to 30.
Kiki did not score in the quarter but still leads the Bruins with 15
Lauren has 14 and 10 rebounds - yet another double-double
