Does Michigan have a huge war chest of money?

How do they afford multiple top tier transfers? IMO Cronin has done a good job of bringing in guys through the portal, but it seems to me that if he seemingly had the money Michigan has he could right now be in the hunt for someone Luis out St. John's. From what I'm hearing UCLA just doesn't have the money, after spending so much on Dent, to even offer kids like that.
