I get that, but Cronan was building his team around this guy. They had a verbal agreement in place before he left from Spain. When he came back he met with members of the staff and something happened. Cannot believe Cronin suddenly decided it would be a great idea to cut ties with his starting center, the one he was building his plans for next year around. Something happened.
Don't know which lies he was referring to. Could be minutes played but he brought nearly all of that on himself, by staying away all summer then coming bak with an injury that delayed his ability to practice, progress and play. Later the schedule for him was delayed again twice, once by an injury and once by a serious illness that became a respiratory infection. We are told he lost 20 pounds and this is not a heavy kid. Then there were his endurance issues. And he pulled himself out of games when he would tire.
So I doubt that's it. I'm wondering if he came back wanting a much bigger payday and perhaps threw his weight around in the process. Young folk can sometimes act on the immediate without weighing the possible consequences. .
