IMO, they're both good coaches.

They've achieved that status in different ways IMO. Mussleman, IMO, is more of a Dale Brown type coach - bringing in players (some perhaps under the radar a bit) then inspiring them to play to their capabilities. Whereas, IMO, Cronin is more of a Bobby Knight type coach - grinding it out through fundamentals and tough gritty play. I see both as successful. As to who is the better coach? Well, that's a totally subjective thing and depends on which peanut gallery is doing the arguing. I think USC did a great job in getting Mussleman. I've always thought USC basketball was a potential sleeping giant. Perhaps Mussleman will be the coach to finally bring USC to the next level. IMO, Musselman has that next level talent. I think Cronin also has that next level potential as well. It may just take Cronin longer following a different path although with the transfer portal everything in college sports is different so we'll see.
